DARK FORCES : a new project announced by GENTEK

Hi! For my first article, I decided to present you a project made by a french mapmaker, Gentek.

Gentek is pretty discreet in the French Doom Community, but he works for a long time on rather ambitious projects, like Androsis. For this second project, Gentek chosen to retranscribe the world of "Dark Forces" on the Doom engine, probably on GZDoom port.

Gentek promises some mods, for example :

• Adventure mod
• Survival mod
• Lightsabers fights

The player will have the possibility of reaching some parts of the map, like Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, or the Imperial base.

Gentek goes very far in the realization, because he created himself his 3D models. It will be also possible to interact with the environment, like for example to use a laser gun.

I hope that Gentek will have the courage to finish this project, and that it isn't too ambitious for him.

At the moment, he hasn't release yet others wads.
